For feature-rich electric folding roofs, sunroofs and window lifter systems, Melexis offers dedicated custom and semi-custom automotive microcontrollers that perform reliably under environmental extremes. Because they can be formulated to exactly match the requirements of each design, Melexis' microcontrollers minimize the need for external components by bringing the required circuitry on-chip thereby lowering cost and increasing reliability.
Melexis’ custom microcontrollers are based on either a 4, 8 or 16 bit RISC core, and can contain the exact analog and digital periphery required. For example, our chopper-stabilized Hall effect sensor ICs and temperature sensors can be embedded on the same die to create an integrated system. We integrate Microcontroller systems with embedded CPU (s), key elements like ROM, RAM, EEPROM, EPROM or FLASH and a host of additional digital and analog blocks. |
