Automotive : Driver Information Systems : Fuel Level Sensor

A typical application of Melexis Hall effect sensors is measurement of fuel levels. The sensors can be programmed in order to compensate for the irregular shape of fuel tanks. A proportional level indication can be guarenteed regardless of the shape of the tank.
