Melexis defines quality as the fulfillment of customer requirements.
Our activities on the semiconductor market are guided by the company motto:
"To be the supplier of choice

Our objective is to provide permanent objective evidence of our competence to the customer. This calls for co-operation on a partnership basis with clear definitions, acceptance and realization of customer requirements.
Increasing customer satisfaction is a permanent task of all divisions and all employees.
This model applies for internal as well as external customers, i.e. for all our employees. To this end a comprehensive flow of information is guaranteed without, however, infringing the intellectual rights and property of our ultimate buyers.
The ongoing endeavor to achieve improvements through prevention with the final objective of attaining "zero defect" is the responsibility of every employee.
Melexis is moving towards "success through quality".

Melexis Environmental Policy
Our environmental policy encompasses all principles of action and environmentally related objectives. The policy takes account of all relevant laws, directives, obligations and internal MELEXIS environmental guidelines as well as a commitment to the continuous improvement of plant environmental protection to the extent to which this can best be achieved by making economic use of the best available technology. The policy is implemented by applying an environmental management system which meets the requirements of ISO 14001.
Ongoing efforts to improve our economic efficiency and competitiveness demand that our long-term conceptions take account of the responsibility we bear for our personnel and the protection of the environment.
Our business objective - the production of semiconductor components to be used in industrial control systems, vehicles and communication equipment - allows the company to continually reduce its consumption of resources by making use of miniaturisation, new performance features, etc.
Our company's environmental policy is based on the following principles of action :
Environmental management is a permanent component of our company's corporate policy. Ecological issues are regarded and treated with the same measure of importance as commercial and technical concerns. Environmental protection is a constituent part of all our activities.
The company management commits itself to implementing this environmental policy and the procedures described with the aim of safeguarding and improving levels of environmental protection within the company.
Every single member of staff is committed to protecting the environment; in this respect a sense of responsibility is promoted at all levels by providing training and information.
The environmental effects of all new activities and of each new product and process will be subject to assessment in advance by those responsible.
We aim to make use of the most environmentally-friendly processes and materials.
The necessary measures will be taken to avoid and remedy damage to the environment. If this is not possible, environmentally-damaging emissions and the amount of waste should be reduced to the absolute minimum; material and energy-saving technologies must be made use of wherever possible. Residual materials which are produced must be re-used or recycled wherever possible.
The necessary measures will be taken to avoid emissions of materials or energy taking place as a result of accidents.
Regular assessments and reviews are carried out in all areas of the company to check that environmental policies are being implemented.
If these principles are shown not to be adhered to by our company, procedures and measures are defined which ensure conformity with the environmental policy and programme.
We make suitably presented information about environmental impact of the company available to the general public and to our customers.
